Regulation on the protection of personal data

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) adopted by the European Union on April 27th, 2016 comes into force on May 25th, 2018 with different objectives.

Protect private life of persons: confidentiality, integrity, availability and data security.

Enriching people's rights: rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, opposition and limitation.

Empower the different actors: data controller and subcontractor.

The LACOUR Group is likely to perform treatments on personal data contained in its Products, through the provision of services including backup, maintenance and hosting. In this configuration, the LACOUR Group acts, as the case may be, as a subcontractor for tailor-made software or co-controller for standardized software. The LACOUR Group has therefore put in place a set of devices to comply with the various requirements of the GDPR:
the designation of a data protection officer and the signing of the code of ethics of the function,
the awareness of the Staff and the confidentiality commitment signed by all the teams,
keeping records of processing activities and data breaches,
the update of all the general and particular conditions,
writing and updating a security insurance plan.
The respect of the GDPR is based on effective and regular collaboration between the different actors of the treatment.
